Tonight we finished tech for the show, which is the fastest tech process I have experienced while working with UMW Theatre. I feel really good about the advancements I’ve made during tech but I definitely still think I have further to go. Having more time to work during tech and develop my character more is a rare treat that I am very happy to have the chance to explore. I still think I have a good amount of development I can do with the character because I am still getting used to the costume and finding more unscripted scripted moments with other characters onstage. This additional exploration has also been a good part of tech for me because it has been really fun to interact with other jurors and work together to develop those interactions and how our characters get along with each other.
