Opening Night! I felt really good tonight, I felt like my work continued to show up for me and I was able to perform well despite my nerves. One of the things that I didn’t prepare for was how funny the audience would find the show. Throughout this process, we have been taking the show so seriously and weren’t anticipating the funnier moments of the show and where the levity was. I hadn’t spent a lot of time reflecting on this throughout the process, but I think it will be interesting to see how that affects the show and where the lighter moments of the show might be.
